Portrait of Marina Mazepa

Marina Mazepa is a Ukrainian-American actress, movement artist, model, choreographer, and creator of Living Letters—an original alphabet in which she forms every letter with her own body.

Her creative journey began in Ukraine and took her to international stages and the final rounds of television shows including America’s Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, and France’s Got Talent, before leading her to Hollywood. Her screen work includes Gabriel’s physical performance in Malignant, Lisa Trevor in Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, and Gretel in The Continental: From the World of John Wick, alongside other film and television roles.

As a choreographer, Marina has worked on European stage productions, including the Europa-Park Dinner Show, and a circus production in Las Vegas. She also served as movement choreographer on Warner Bros.’ Lee Cronin’s The Mummy. Her modeling work brings the expressive possibilities of movement into fashion and fine art photography.

Today, her creative focus is Living Letters, choreography, and transformation through movement. Living Letters takes three forms: fine art prints, video art displayed in digital frames, and live performances. Marina has presented Living Letters in galleries in Los Angeles, New York, and Ukraine, and performed the project as a guest star on Ukraine’s Dancing with the Stars. Combining live movement with digital art, she explores the meanings of letters and words, conveys messages, and tells stories through her body. This work also opens possibilities for creative collaborations with fashion brands.

Her newest direction is Alphabet of Transformation—a practice that brings together her body alphabet, yoga, breathwork, and mindful movement to support self-exploration and personal transformation.
